ADDAR GROUP was established as an industrial services Saudi company in 1999 by H.E. Dr. Ibrahim A. Ibn Salamah after his retirement from SABIC as vice-chairman. In a very short time frame the group became one of the leading IT service companies of the Kingdom and an active industrial spare parts supplier. In 2003 the group established Addar shareholder Management Department using ADDAR Shareholder Management System with a team of experienced business consultants to support shares services for shareholders companies in the Saudi market. The group also expanded its activities and services in other business sectors including Steel, Cement, Petrochemicals & Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Power Generation. Its industrial services specialize in supply of chemical additives and raw materials, general electro-mechanical items, spare parts of rotating equipments, reverse engineering of parts and the technology for gas turbine intake/exhaust system and spare part for heavy equipment machines and traction Batteries. For meeting such requirement the group is associated with several international companies of North America, Europe and Asia. Realizing the strong industry requirement for the service center of rotating equipments. The group is planning to build a world class service center in the Kingdom which will be equipped with the most advanced and state of art equipments for turbine repair/overhaul and maintenance, and run by specialist of international repute. Today ADDAR GROUP comprises of 6 establishments and companies and has over 500 professionals who are contributing in IT , Industrial, and commercial sectors.

Dr. Ibrahim A. Ibn Salamah - Chairman
Dr. Ibrahim A. Ibn Salamah he obtained his bachelor degree in Mathematics and Economics at Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, graduating in 1968. After returning to Saudi Arabia, served as Director of the Industrial Research Department of the Government’s industrial studies and development center. In 1976, Ibrahim A. Ibn Salamah joined SABIC as Director General of Planning and Studies. In his post in SABIC he was directly engaged in planning, product studies and negotiations for SABIC joint venture. He served as a Vice Chairman and Managing Director of SABIC from 1983-1998. After retirement from SABIC, he established ADDAR Group to provide Industrial and IT consultancy.

Mr. Bassam provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment, also encourages and guides the growth of IT infrastructure and client support services, manage and oversee business development in providing critical services to Power, Industrial and Oil & Gas sectors. His leadership role is invaluable in managing finance & administration of the group of companies.
Prior to joining ADDAR, he spent 4 years in business analysis, investments and operation and planning in SABIC. Mr. Bassam an Industrial Engineer and holds an MBA from King Saud University.

Being part SEC / Generation as Senior Engineer in the same field. He developed with DAR AL BALAD for business in maintenance of Power Plant. He is acting GM of STEG-SA, a sister company of DAR AL BALAD working on the field of Maintenance of Gas & Steam Turbines and related equipment.
